Our South Portland Campus is one of the most picturesque points on the Maine coast overlooking Casco Bay. Located on the former site of Fort Preble, our 80-acre campus is filled with renovated historical buildings that have been adapted into classrooms, residence halls, dining halls and more. Outside of the classroom, students are just steps away from two beaches, a lighthouse, athletic fields and the popular Greenbelt Walkway.
Additionally, Portland, Maine鈥檚 largest city, is just minutes away. Here, students can enjoy one of the country鈥檚 best culinary scenes, concerts, night spots for every taste, sporting events, ferries to nearby Casco Bay islands, shopping, museums, theaters and more.
Directions
From I-95
- Take exit 45 (Maine Mall Road, Payne Road). Coming off the exit, proceed straight (1.7 miles) to Route 1 (Main Street) in South Portland. Turn left onto Route 1 North.
- At the fourth set of lights, turn right onto Broadway.
- Proceed straight on Broadway for about two miles and take right at the fifth light to continue on Broadway.
- Proceed approximately 1 mile on Broadway.

From I-295
- Take exit 6a (Forest Avenue South).
- Immediately bear to the right onto Route 77 South, which turns into State Street. Follow all the way through downtown Portland.
- At the bottom of a large hill, State Street bears right over the Casco Bay Bridge.
- After crossing the bridge, proceed straight through the lights and follow the road (Broadway) for approximately 1 mile.
